What's New at The Family Way
Web-It!
In the summer of 2008, The Family Way introduced our new “Web-It” edition of Prepared Childbirth – The Family Way. The small “Web-It” icon appears on selected pages in our handbook. The icon cues the students to go to our our website, for more information on the subject on that page. We provide links to reliable Internet websites which show such things as fetal development videos, relaxation practices, an animated latch video, the nutrition pyramid for pregnancy, information on newborns, etc.
If you purchased copies of Prepared Childbirth – The Family Way before we came out with our “Web-It” edition, your students can still access our links. Provide your students with our website address to click on our Web It! tab. If you would like to give them stickers with The Family Way web address, CLICK HERE for a master page that you can use to print stickers. Avery Neon Assorted High Visibility Labels 1" x 2 5/8” (for laser printers #5979) are a bright reminder for them.
Branching Out
We are privileged to be working with health professionals to bring The Family Way childbirth education materials to Romania and in Kazakhstan to train both childbirth educators and expectant parents.
